Beach Retreat formerly known as Bunker II is an old favorite vacation spot but with some very new digs!!! Recent renovation includes a spa bathroom complete with full body shower with ocean rock pebble floor, large bathtub & even a vessel sink! The new kitchen features granite countertops, wall mounted pot filler, large work island. Other upgrades featured include wood flooring, new decks, beamed bedroom ceilings and the addition of a downstairs laundry room with a bonus twin bed for the smaller beachcomber that wants to “camp out” downstairs.
The living area of Beach Retreat features ample seating, large flat screen television and beautiful views of the Atlantic as well as direct access to the large oceanfront deck with steps to the beach.
Over to the south side of the living room, you will find the kitchen table along with several bar stools at the kitchen island. There are also windows placed here so you can enjoy the views while having your morning coffee!
The kitchen is truly a show place! There is no doubt you will feel right at home with the large work island along with granite countertops. Small touches such as a large sink and wall mounted pot filler over the stove only add to the coastal charm.
Down the hall you will find yet another center piece for the upgraded home; the spa like bathroom. The bath features a vessel sink sure to be very eye appealing. But perhaps the most striking feature of this bath is the glass enclosed “wet room” that offers a full body shower over an ocean pebble floor and a step up soaking tub! Can you imagine the luxury of this “wet room” after a long day strolling on the beach?
The first bedroom you come to will be the kids room complete with television and bunk beds for the kids long slumber at night.
The second bedroom features wooden beamed ceiling, queen bed and a private television.
The third bedroom offers a large desk for the telecommuter along with a king sized bed for comfort.
Another unique aspect of this property is the downstairs apartment that offers some extra privacy.
The downstairs apartment offers a living area complete with television and ample seating, complete kitchen, full bath and bedroom with a queen bed. This is perfect for teenage children.
On the lower level is the laundry room with exercise equipment and a twin single bed for your “stowaway”.
Beach Retreat is a wonderful property with great upgrades and is sure to fast become a favorite to your family while visiting at Topsail Island!!
